Graduation Day is approaching. I will be sending a form home with the children in the four’s class to purchase either a cap or a cap and gown for their Graduation on May 22nd. If you have a child that has already graduated from preschool and still has their cap and gown, they may wear it and only need to purchase a new tassel. 

 

We will be doing our End of the Year Assessments with the children to see what they have accomplished over the past seven months. A copy will be sent home with your child once it is completed.

 

This month we start our Little Caesars Fundraiser. It’s simple to do.  Just set up your Seller page to begin selling these delicious pizza kits. Our group earns $6 profit on every kit we sell. Remember that you can also email links to your family and friends, so they don’t miss out, and post on your social media pages. Shipping costs are the same for 1 Kit or 2 Kits. Funds raised will be used to purchase mulch for the playground, so we hope you help us reach our goal! You may place orders online beginning April 22nd through May 22nd. These kits are great to have for a quick meal for the summer.

 

We still have a few spots available in our Tuesday/Thursday Three’s Class. If you are aware of anyone that would be interested, please let them know. A letter will be mailed to you the last week of July with dates and information about the Open House and the upcoming year.  The first day of preschool will be Tuesday, September 3rd.

 

The preschool children will be singing for our church congregation on Sunday, April 21st at both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services. We hope your child can attend one of these services to help us share with the church congregation what an excellent group of preschoolers we have! Please let me know if they will be able to attend and what service to make sure we have enough to sing.

 

The four’s class will be having their annual Preschool Prom on Friday, April 26th from 7:00-9:00 pm in the CLC. Mrs. Brenda and Mrs. Christi will be hosting this event. An invitation has been sent home with the four’s class. The girls will be bringing their dads, and the boys will be bringing their moms. This is such a magical night for the children to share with their parents! This year’s theme is “Under the Sea.”

 

We are also registering now for the Summer Program.  We will have classes in June, July, and August.  See our preschool website for details, www.mtpleasantpreschool.com. There is a $35 registration fee due by May 3rd.  After May 3rd, the registration fee will be $45.00. We have classes for preschoolers ages 2-5 and for children in grades K-2nd.  Please specify what weeks you plan to send your child. When registering, please specify what weeks you would like to send your child. I will contact you if one of the weeks you choose is already full.

 

The Preschool will be closed on Friday, April 19th.
